Hit & Miss, 2013

Adiós 2013, Hello 2014!

I hope everyone is coping well with the drastic shot up with the cost of living in Malaysia.
The big squeeze on household finances is being exacerbated by the wages failing to rise in line with the recent price hikes. When the phenomenon is beyond your control, please stop complaining & start adjusting yourself to the ever-changing phenomenon instead. Time & tide waits for no man!

Landscape Corner
MALAYSIA
GDP Growth: 5.0%
GDP per head: $11,700 (PPP:%18,760)
Inflation: 3.2%
Budget Balance (%GDP): -4.3
Population: 30.1 million

Despite of all the negative impacts from the price hikes, we have to be pleased that there are a lot of opportunities of GDP growth in this 2014. In another words, there are still abundance of untapped opportunities within the country in this benign market condition.

For myself, 2014 is a brand new start for every aspect in my life. Thank God for giving me a new chance in this wonderful year. What had happened in the past, learnt the lesson & keep moving forward. Let's not dwell into something that have already happened for too long. We should instead live our life to fullest & cherish the one in front of you and grab every single opportunity that is given to us. Thank to my family that always be by my side to give support to me. Without my dearest family members & my foster family member, I am not able to make it through. Besides them, also very thankful to a new bunch of awesome & great people that came into my life, which is my First Baptist Church family members. I have been actively involving myself back with all the church activities to build my spiritual life. There's also this special person that have undergone the last quarter of 2013 together with me showing much love and encouragement to overcome all the hard & tough times with me. You mean a lot to me & thank you for compromising all my tantrums that it will be subside in the year 2014, finger-crossed.

That's for now, I shall be back real soon. Cheers.
